El corazón tiene razones que la razón desconoce.

Esta frase de Blaise Pascal está hoy constántemente en mi cabeza. Conozco perfectamente sus razones y las mías, pero nada puedo hacer al respecto. Hoy manda mi corazón.

Me gustó desde el momento en que me miró. Hacía frío y empezaba a caer una fina lluvia mientras me preguntaba si podría reconocele. Nos reconocimos nada más mirarnos y fue en ese mismo instante cuando caí rendida. Esos ojos pequeños y vivarachos y ese gesto rascándose la cabeza, como niño que hace travesuras, mientras pedía disculpas por la tardanza. Pasamos la noche en aquella bonita tasca dentro de la vieja plaza de toros. La camarera pensó que éramos una pareja. Puedo recordar nuestras caras cuando él pagaba la cuenta y ella dijo algo sobre mí como si yo fuese su novia. Hasta noté el calor subir por mis mejillas. Vestía con unos vaqueros algo caídos en el culete, una camisa de vestir oscura con rayas y la inconfundible cadena de metal que sale de su bolsillo sujetando la cartera. Probablemente una costumbre adquirida de cuando vivía en Londres.

No puedo garantizar que ese día fue en el que me enamoré. Solo puedo decir, que ese día, forma parte de las razones por las que le quiero. Pero como toda moneda tiene su cruz... hoy estoy llorando en el sofá e intentando hacer que mi razón no haga oídos sordos.
